    Launched 'Content Marketing Musings' Newsletter

As a brand and marketing consultant, I needed to both increase my company's visibility and establish myself as a brand and marketing expert in the sectors my target clients work in. So, I launched a LinkedIn newsletter called 'Content Marketing Musings.' The goal was to provide valuable, actionable advice for leaders looking to discover, elevate, and enhance their brand. Each newsletter issue featured my insights and experience with brand and marketing, including practical tips, actionable advice, and real-life case studies.

I promoted the newsletter across my LinkedIn profile, Twitter profile, blog, email list, and relevant industry groups, emphasizing its unique value. I also engaged with my audience by responding to comments and questions, fostering a sense of community.

The result? In just a few months, I had more than 500 subscribers, and the list is still growing. Many of my personal connections tell me they look forward to reading my newsletter every week.

More importantly, the newsletter has resulted in a significant increase in lead generation and interaction, which has translated into new clients and business opportunities. This ongoing marketing strategy has not only increased my visibility but also established my brand as a trusted resource for brand and marketing advice.

    Personal Branding Strategy on LinkedIn

The cheapest and fastest way to get quick results as an entrepreneur, for me, has been personal branding on LinkedIn.

The specific strategy steps that I've used are to connect with your target Ideal Customer Profile (ICP); then offer information that is strategically valuable, that shows your expertise, while also providing significant value to that person. Then, continue to engage with them over multiple direct messages, and then ask for a meeting where you provide an offer they can't refuse.

    'Operation Sneaky Billboard' Campaign

One standout campaign for us involved what I like to call 'Operation Sneaky Billboard.' We strategically placed a massive billboard along a busy highway where it seemed like every commuter's gaze inevitably fell upon it during rush hour. The catch? We designed it to be so eye-catching and witty that people couldn't help but share it on social media. Within days, it became the talk of the town, generating tons of buzz and foot traffic to our website. It was like guerrilla marketing meets viral content, and the results were beyond our expectations. The takeaway? Sometimes, a bold and clever approach can turn a simple billboard into a citywide conversation starter and drive real visibility for your business.

    User-Generated Content Boosts LinkedIn Visibility

When we launched a campaign encouraging users to share their experiences with our brand on LinkedIn through a simple pop-up, it dramatically boosted our visibility. This initiative led to numerous mentions from a diverse audience, significantly increasing our reach and engagement. The authentic testimonials shared by our users not only built trust but also expanded our network, contributing to a noticeable uptick in our business growth.

Content Marketing with Customer Success Stories

The TrackingMore brand has gained significant visibility on social media through our content marketing campaign, including blog posts and customer success stories. The customer success stories have gained considerable traction on LinkedIn, where we share links targeting C-suite employees and entrepreneurs who own e-commerce, software development, supply chain, and logistics brands.

These case studies highlight some notable brands that have used TrackingMore’s shipment API and tracking services to improve their customers' experiences and enhance their teams' operational efficiency. Using effective storytelling, we’ve helped similar businesses identify their problems and position TrackingMore as the go-to solution.

Our blog posts include how-to guides that help businesses and individuals learn how to track their shipments across various carriers using TrackingMore. We also highlight other industry-related topics like inventory management.

Providing this valuable content for free has made content marketing one of our most successful campaigns and enabled TrackingMore to increase its visibility.

Maximizing Google Business Profile for Local Marketing

Keeping your free Google Business Profile up-to-date and actively managed is consistently the marketing strategy that gets the highest ROI for our clients, with the least amount of effort.

Google wants to provide the best search experience for their users. Otherwise, people won't search on Google—they'll use other platforms. So, Google gives very easy-to-understand advice about how to actively manage your listing. It's how Google learns about local businesses, and it's how a local business can captivate attention in search results.

All you really need to do is complete all of the available fields with your important contact info, continuously get more reviews, and keep adding photos showing the work you do. Whether you're just getting started with local marketing or have been around for years, managing this free listing is the easiest way to get customers. And, if you can use social media, this is something you can do on your own as a small business owner—it's just as easy.
